Advice/Help about Anti-Social Behaviour:

The term 'anti-social behaviour', or ASB, can be loosely described as any actions that could cause harassment, alarm or distress to another person, and there are many methods the council, and more widely the Barnet Safer Communities Partnership (BSCP), can use to combat these types of problems wherever they arise.

If you are affected by noise nuisance please contact the weekday noise service and the weekend 24 hour noise service on:

Tel. 020 8359 7997 (9am - 5pm) or during weekdays
Tel. 020 8359 2000 (8pm - 7am) from Friday -Monday Morning option 2 gives direct contact to the noise and nuisance officer.

If the noise is on going at the time of your call an officer will aim to visit you within one hour.

If the noise is not on-going the completion of log sheets can help the Environmental Health section ascertain if we will be able to help you.

Always found them to be helpful - and arrived within the hour to witness noise - threats were made, although not sure how much teeth they really had as it never went that far. I have found Barnet council to be both helpful and very unhelpful in the past regarding anti social behaviour.
